Mail order: Name brand drugs and their generic equivalents are both available through mail order, and it is an excellent way to save money on prescription medication purchases. Using mail order generics whenever possible is probably the most effective alternative for saving money on prescription purchases. Even though mail order prescriptions are convenient and very cost effective, only a small percentage of consumers take full advantage of the substantial savings a mail order pharmacy offers.
